TOKYO FM NIGHT DRIVE
rhythm game
A rhythm-driving game set on a neon Tokyo night run, syncing car actions to the beat.
Inspired by This game was created from the idea of turning the atmosphere of Tokyo at midnight—captured in music—into an interactive experience. Living in Tokyo, I often feel a unique late-night mood: neon lights reflecting on the streets, the smooth flow of traffic, and a quiet calm that coexists with the city’s energy. These elements inspired the kind of music that defines the game. Rather than just listening to that style of track, I wanted players to experience it more deeply by syncing their movement to the rhythm. As a rhythm-based driving game, the core experience is about driving in time with the music, allowing players to feel as if they are moving inside the track itself. This project aims to connect the atmosphere of Tokyo nights that I experience in everyday life with the groove and mood of the music, and translate that into a playable form.
