Fanto's Mega-Mart

Rocket-speed shopping in a haunted grocery store.
Inspired by I'm actually a haunted robot in real life and sometimes I go grocery shopping, so this is very personal to me. (Real, deeply unsatisfying answer: I had a dream about it which I assume was influenced by Supermarket Sweep.)

Overall fun game. Liked the music and the aesthetics. However, the controls could use some fine tuning.

The game's concept presents an interactive premise that, unfortunately, is overshadowed by crucial flaws in its navigation design. The main obstacle to the experience is not the challenge posed by the mechanics themselves, but the clunky camera system that generates constant spatial disorientation, making simple movement and viewing of the environment a frustrating task. The project would benefit immensely from a restructuring of its view control system. Adding more responsive camera behavior, perhaps locking one of the rotation axes or implementing a smarter collision system that prevents the view from passing through objects or getting lost in the scenery, would make all the difference. Considering the flexibility of current 3D libraries, adjusting the scripts that govern camera interpolation is not a complex technical problem. Imagine the potential for immersion if visual exploration were fluid and natural. This simple ergonomic correction would transform a confusing experience into agile and enjoyable gameplay. Verdict: 5.5/10 Fanto's Mega Mart has good intentions, but the technical execution of the camera sabotages the game itself. However, by failing to deliver intuitive observation controls, the game stifles its own potential and alienates the player within the first few minutes. It's an idea that serves as a draft, but it urgently needs refinement in its navigation architecture so that the focus is on fun, and not on the constant struggle with the controls.
